My Inspiration
I’m an artist and designer that is never happier than when I’m elbow deep in dirt - whether it be tending to my small kitchen garden or in my studio covered in clay.
My inspiration is found in nature and and my designs are an exploration of form, texture and colour found in the beautiful countryside that surrounds me. I capture not only the imagery but I also try to invoke the sense of harmony and peace that the scenery gives me in my work. I specialise in handcrafted stoneware bodies and use a mixture of carefully applied coloured glazes that will take you on a journey through the landscapes and seascapes found in Ireland.
My mission is to create small batch, beautiful ceramic homewares that reflect my love of nature and brings as much joy to the recipient as I have in their creation.
